This work without title by Yehudit Sasportas was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2016. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 14,215.31) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yehudit Sasportas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Name - Diptych, which sold at auction in December 2013 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 49,894.77).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yehudit Sasportas wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 14.215,31) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Yehudit Sasportas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Name - Diptych beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 49.894,77) versteigert wurde.
