Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Who Will Play Autumn'S Tune? by Ye Yongqing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 220,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,763.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Yongqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Who Will Play Autumn'S Tune? von Ye Yongqing kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 220.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.763,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
