Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bird (Spring Dawn) by Ye Yongqing was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 590,000.00 (€ 64,929.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ye Yongqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bird (Spring Dawn) von Ye Yongqing wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 590.000,00 (€ 64.929,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
