Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting A Bird by Ye Yongqing was auctioned at POLY in September 2018. The price achieved of HKD 944,000.00 (€ 103,887.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ye Yongqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 944.000,00 (€ 103.887,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55) versteigert wurde.
