Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Qi Gong - The Strength From Within by Ye Yongqing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 44,263.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ye Yongqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Qi Gong - The Strength From Within von Ye Yongqing kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 44.263,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
