A top price for Ye Yongqing - as previously expected
In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples by Ye Yongqing. It changed hands for a price of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 2,600,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples is the most expensive artwork by Ye Yongqing that we have observed at auctions so far.
