Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Ye Yongqing. The price achieved of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 20,777.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 240,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Yongqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ye Yongqing zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 20.777,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 240.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
