The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,284.49) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ye Yongqing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 4,400,000.00 (€ 409,228.55).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Stork) von Ye Yongqing wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.284,49) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ye Yongqing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zanha In A Row; Summer·Lost Fruits; & Picking Deal Apples im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.400.000,00 (€ 409.228,55).
