The work Work by Yasuo Sumi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,997.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuo Sumi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).

Die Arbeit Work von Yasuo Sumi kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.997,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66) versteigert wurde.
