A top price for Yasuo Sumi
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale), which included the work Work by Yasuo Sumi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 900,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66). With this result, Work is even the most expensive work of art by Yasuo Sumi that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Yasuo Sumi
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work von Yasuo Sumi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 900.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Work sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yasuo Sumi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
