Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Akogare (Longing) by Yasuo Sumi. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuo Sumi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Akogare (Longing) von Yasuo Sumi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66).
