Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work Sy-49 by Yasuo Sumi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 448,400.00 (€ 49,351.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 480,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuo Sumi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work Sy-49 von Yasuo Sumi wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 448.400,00 (€ 49.351,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 480.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66) versteigert wurde.
