Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yasuo Sumi was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 7,991.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuo Sumi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 937,500.00 (€ 108,357.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yasuo Sumi wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 7.991,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Sumi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 937.500,00 (€ 108.357,66).
