Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Café No. 2 (Davis L-67) by Yasuo Kuniyoshi was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,738.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuo Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy With Cow in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 271,500.00 (€ 256,664.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Café No. 2 (Davis L-67) von Yasuo Kuniyoshi kam im Juli 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.738,77) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuo Kuniyoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy With Cow im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 271.500,00 (€ 256.664,78).
