Ishimoto's signature in pencil on the title.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Christies in London held the auction Photobooks, which included the work Aruhi Arutokoro -- Someday, Somewhere. Tokyo: Geibi Shuppan, 1958. by Yasuhiro Ishimoto. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,145.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuhiro Ishimoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,477.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photobooks durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aruhi Arutokoro -- Someday, Somewhere. Tokyo: Geibi Shuppan, 1958. von Yasuhiro Ishimoto zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.145,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuhiro Ishimoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.477,25) versteigert wurde.
