Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Street Scene From Above Showing Car And Turn Only Sign by Yasuhiro Ishimoto. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,528.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasuhiro Ishimoto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selected Images, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,477.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street Scene From Above Showing Car And Turn Only Sign von Yasuhiro Ishimoto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.528,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasuhiro Ishimoto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selected Images beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.477,25) versteigert wurde.
