The work Sciamachia by Yasam Sasmazer was auctioned at Phillips in London in July 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,457.10), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasam Sasmazer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Captured by Light, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,795.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sciamachia von Yasam Sasmazer kam im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.457,10) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasam Sasmazer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Captured by Light beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.795,75) versteigert wurde.
