Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Big Bang II by Yasam Sasmazer was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in April 2013. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,289.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Yasam Sasmazer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Captured by Light, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,795.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Big Bang II von Yasam Sasmazer kam im April 2013 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.289,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Yasam Sasmazer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Captured by Light beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.795,75) versteigert wurde.
