This artwork by Yasam Sasmazer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in December 2017. In the New Now auction, the work Treacherous Wolf sold for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,320.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yasam Sasmazer; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Captured by Light sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 37,795.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Yasam Sasmazer erzielte im Dezember 2017 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde die Arbeit Treacherous Wolf für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.320,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yasam Sasmazer; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Captured by Light im April 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 37.795,75).
