Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work No-20 by Yang Shaobin for HKD 8,750.00 (€ 924.94). This price was achieved in the auction 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shaobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fighting 98-13 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 502,303.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit No-20 von Yang Shaobin für HKD 8.750,00 (€ 924,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shaobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fighting 98-13 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 502.303,49).
