This artwork by Yang Shaobin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September last year. In the Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers auction, the work Fighting, 2001 sold for EUR 13,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shaobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fighting 98-13 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 502,303.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Shaobin erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers wurde die Arbeit Fighting, 2001 für EUR 13.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shaobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fighting 98-13 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 502.303,49).
