Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No. 18 by Yang Shaobin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,430.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shaobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fighting 98-13 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 502,303.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit No. 18 von Yang Shaobin kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.430,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shaobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fighting 98-13 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 502.303,49).
