Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work 2006 No. 8 by Yang Shaobin for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,992.68). This price was achieved in the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Shaobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fighting 98-13 in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 5,780,000.00 (€ 502,303.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 2006 No. 8 von Yang Shaobin für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.992,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Shaobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fighting 98-13 im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.780.000,00 (€ 502.303,49).
