Auction result well in line with expectations
The work International Hotel No.3 by Yang Fudong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,188.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Fudong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The First Intellectual in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit International Hotel No.3 von Yang Fudong kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.188,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Fudong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The First Intellectual im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
