Sold at the lower estimate price
The work The Fifth Night by Yang Fudong was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The result of HKD 10,000.00 (€ 1,128.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Fudong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The First Intellectual in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit The Fifth Night von Yang Fudong wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 10.000,00 (€ 1.128,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Fudong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The First Intellectual im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
