Auction result well in line with expectations
The work INTERNATIONAL HOTEL NO.6 by Yang Fudong was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. The price achieved of CNY 264,000.00 (€ 33,073.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yang Fudong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The First Intellectual in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit INTERNATIONAL HOTEL NO.6 von Yang Fudong kam im September 2018 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 264.000,00 (€ 33.073,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Fudong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The First Intellectual im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60).
