The work Fishing Houseboats by Xu Xi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in New York in September 2018. It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,441.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Xi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fishing Houseboats von Xu Xi wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.441,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Xi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Landscape im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71).
