Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Xu Xi. The price achieved of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 4,800.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Xi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work River Landscape in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 35,507.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Xu Xi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 4.800,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Xi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit River Landscape im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 35.507,71).
