A top price for Xu Wei
The work Various Objects by Xu Wei was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,276,000.00 (€ 364,409.63). With this result, Various Objects is even the most expensive work of art by Xu Wei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Xu Wei
Die Arbeit Various Objects von Xu Wei wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.276.000,00 (€ 364.409,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Various Objects sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xu Wei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
