The work Calligraphy in Cursive Script by Xu Wei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. It achieved a price of HKD 312,000.00 (€ 29,708.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Objects in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 3,276,000.00 (€ 364,409.63).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Cursive Script von Xu Wei kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 312.000,00 (€ 29.708,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Objects im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.276.000,00 (€ 364.409,63).
