Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Landscape by Xiong Hai was sold in the Fine Modern Chinese Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,284.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiong Hai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 58,839.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring Landscape von Xiong Hai wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.284,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiong Hai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 58.839,63).
