Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dwelling In The Mountains by Xiong Hai was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,006.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiong Hai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 58,839.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dwelling In The Mountains von Xiong Hai wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art: Confluence bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.006,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiong Hai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 58.839,63).
