Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year POLY in Poly Auction App held the auction The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Xiong Hai. The price achieved of HKD 15,600.00 (€ 1,852.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiong Hai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 58,839.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte POLY in Poly Auction App die Auktion The Lasting Spring, Fine Modern Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Xiong Hai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.600,00 (€ 1.852,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiong Hai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 58.839,63).
