Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nude Descending A Staircase by Xie Nanxing was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 78,257.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Nanxing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 960,000.00 (€ 980,347.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nude Descending A Staircase von Xie Nanxing wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 78.257,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Nanxing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Ambiguous Flower No. 3) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 960.000,00 (€ 980.347,83).
