Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work The God Of War by Liu Xiaodong was worth EUR 118,750.00 to a buyer in May 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Reborn: Modern and Contemporary at Christies in Milan and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Xiaodong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Disobeying The Rules in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 66,200,000.00 (€ 6,815,482.84).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit The God Of War von Liu Xiaodong war einem Käufer im Mai 2021 EUR 118.750,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Reborn: Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Xiaodong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Disobeying The Rules im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 66.200.000,00 (€ 6.815.482,84).
