Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bear No. 3 by Xavier Veilhan was sold in the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 48,389.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Xavier Veilhan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Sophie no. 1 was auctioned for GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,054.58).
