A top price for Xavier Veilhan
In October 2013 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Sophie no. 1 by Xavier Veilhan. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,054.58), 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sophie no. 1 is even the most expensive work of art by Xavier Veilhan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2013 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sophie no. 1 von Xavier Veilhan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 62.054,58) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sophie no. 1 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xavier Veilhan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
