Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included the work Sans Titre by Xavier Veilhan. The price achieved of GBP 2,520.00 (€ 3,005.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xavier Veilhan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sophie no. 1 in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 62,054.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Xavier Veilhan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 3.005,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xavier Veilhan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sophie no. 1 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 62.054,58).
