Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master Pictures and Drawings, which included the work Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Carnations And Other Flowers In A Chinese Vase Set On A Marble Ledge by Wybrand Hendriks. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,585.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wybrand Hendriks have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Jan van Walre, full length, in a riding costume with his dog, his horse and a servant by his side; and Portrait of Maria Kops, full length, in a white dress and elaborate hat with her daughter by her side in May 2009 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master Pictures and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With Peonies, Roses, Carnations And Other Flowers In A Chinese Vase Set On A Marble Ledge von Wybrand Hendriks zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.585,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wybrand Hendriks auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Jan van Walre, full length, in a riding costume with his dog, his horse and a servant by his side; and Portrait of Maria Kops, full length, in a white dress and elaborate hat with her daughter by her side im Mai 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
