It achieved a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,765.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wybrand Hendriks; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait of Jan van Walre, full length, in a riding costume with his dog, his horse and a servant by his side; and Portrait of Maria Kops, full length, in a white dress and elaborate hat with her daughter by her side sold at auction in May 2009 with the realized price of EUR 16,250.00.
