The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,570.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wybrand Hendriks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of Jan van Walre, full length, in a riding costume with his dog, his horse and a servant by his side; and Portrait of Maria Kops, full length, in a white dress and elaborate hat with her daughter by her side, which sold at auction in May 2009 for EUR 16,250.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.570,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wybrand Hendriks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of Jan van Walre, full length, in a riding costume with his dog, his horse and a servant by his side; and Portrait of Maria Kops, full length, in a white dress and elaborate hat with her daughter by her side beobachtet, die im Mai 2009 für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert wurde.
