This work without title by Wyatt Kahn was sold in the Art for One Drop auction at Phillips in New York in September 2018. The »bidding war« ended at USD 66,000.00 (€ 56,788.85), 65% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wyatt Kahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sideways, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wyatt Kahn wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Art for One Drop bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 56.788,85) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sideways beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80) versteigert wurde.
