Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wyatt Kahn was auctioned at Phillips in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 55,665.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wyatt Kahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sideways, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wyatt Kahn kam im März 2017 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 55.665,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sideways beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80) versteigert wurde.
