Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled 07 by Wyatt Kahn for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,636.70). This price was achieved in the auction First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wyatt Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sideways in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled 07 von Wyatt Kahn für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.636,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sideways im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80).
