It achieved a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,225.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wucius Wong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych), which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).

Die Arbeit The Floods Of Autumn No. 10 von Wucius Wong wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.225,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85) versteigert wurde.
