Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Dream by Wucius Wong was auctioned at POLY in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 14,941.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wucius Wong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit New Dream von Wucius Wong kam im April 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 14.941,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wucius Wong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85).
