Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work CITY DREAM #12 by Wucius Wong. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,366.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Other works by Wucius Wong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2016 the work Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) was auctioned for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 98,581.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit CITY DREAM #12 von Wucius Wong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.366,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wucius Wong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2016 die Arbeit Sky-Land Expression 1 (Diptych) für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 98.581,85) versteigert.
