Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script by Wu Rongguang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 24,000.00 (€ 2,285.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Rongguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,096.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script von Wu Rongguang kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 24.000,00 (€ 2.285,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Rongguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.096,07).
