A top price for Wu Rongguang
This artwork by Wu Rongguang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy In Xingshu sold for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,096.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. This high result makes Calligraphy In Xingshu the most expensive artwork by Wu Rongguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
