The work Calligraphies After Huaisu by Wu Rongguang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 20,235.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wu Rongguang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Xingshu sold at auction in October 2013 with the realized price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,096.07).

Die Arbeit Calligraphies After Huaisu von Wu Rongguang kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 20.235,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wu Rongguang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu im Oktober 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.096,07).
